How many times do we get a second chance in life? To reignite our passions? The retired musicians and performers of The Hua Mei Orchestra prepare for their debut concert at Flushing Town Hall in New York. For twenty years, they put aside their music while they endured the struggles of assimilating in America as new immigrants. The music in their lives had been replaced with cultural challenges but when they arrived to form “Hua Mei,” they discovered that there was room - and a stage - for music again.
